KIDS' MAGICAL PARTY
Your child can be the Magician's Apprentice and co-star in the show! Many magic effects with audience participation are part of this fun show tailored especially
for children.
ILLUSIONS
A highly entertaining one man illusion show designed for any occasion. This type of show guarantees to astound audiences of all ages combining visual magic with audience participation.
CLOSE-UP MAGIC
Enjoy close-up magic designed to entertain your guests in small groups seated at their tables. A great way to spend your evening with a professional magician in a close setting.
MIND READING
Using various mental skills such as extrasensory perception, clairvoyance, telepathy and telekinesis, Andar can provide magical demonstrations that are sure to astound and delight.
COMEDY
Included within most shows are silly antics, puns, gags and a few embarrassing moments. Of course this involves audience participation.
SPECIAL FX
Included within some shows (depending on the venue) are stunning special effects. Without giving away all the secrets, you may see fire, water, confetti, streamers, mini pyrotechnics, lasers, projections, smoke, or fog.
WHO IS ?
Andar is a native of Santa Cruz, California. He first studied magic at six years old, showing various tricks to his family and friends. He soon began designing and constructing his own effects and props and performed complete shows while known as "The Great Whodunit".
He and a close neighbor friend invented the world's first Sidewalk Magic Show (similar to a lemonade stand) which drivers and pedestrians would stop by and pay .50₵ to see a few tricks.
He further honed his skills reading books by the master magicians and watching magic videos. In college, he studied Theatre Arts and showmanship, including: acting, improv, choir, dance, makeup, costuming, props, set design, lighting, audio.
Andar worked at a magic and novelty store in Mountain View, Ca. where he would demonstrate each of the magic effects to customers.
In 2001, he started a professional magic career performing for 100 kids and counselors at a summer camp in Soquel, Ca. Then, he expanded throughout the Bay Area and entertained people of all ages. So far, Andar has invented eight original magic effects.
In January 2014, he produced, directed, and starred in his own public 2-hour stage magic show titled, An Evening of Magic and Illusion, which ran for three weeks. His magical assistant was Olivia Hallie-Lehrman, an acrobat from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus.
Andar was Vice President of The Coastal Magicians Club of Santa Cruz County from 2014-2016.
In 2015, he auditioned for America's Got Talent.
Today, Andar The Sorcerer performs shows regularly for your special parties and events.
